Additional Education Data

New data on seven different educational achievement levels and how the Pittsburgh region compares to other benchmark regions has been added to Education. Because 2000 Census data are the latest available, there is reason to believe it may be somewhat dated. College graduation rates may be slightly lower and two-year degree total slightly higher than would be the case if data for 2007 were available. The low high school graduation rate for Allegheny County as compared to the 21 other counties of the region is notable.
